Getting to/from Philadelphia International Airport

Philadelphia International Airport sits in the southern part of Philadelphia, with a small portion of the airport in Delaware County. It is easily accessible to all the major roadways in the area and offers plenty of parking.

Rental cars from all major companies are available for rent at the airport.

Taking Public Transportation to/from Philadelphia International Airport

One of my favorite things about Philadelphia International Airport is how easy and inexpensive it is to get to and from the airport on public transportation.

SEPTA train service departs Philadelphia’s city center every 30 minutes between 4:52am and 11:52pm everyday, and returns every 30 minutes from 5:07am until 12:30am.

One-way tickets cost $6.75 and $9.25 to any station beyond City Center.

The train runs between the airport and Temple University, with five stops in between including Market East Station, near the Old City, and 30th Street Station, which offers easy connections to Amtrak.
