My family and I are always on the lookout for Christmas light shows to visit, so we were excited to head to Bright Nights in York, PA.
Bright Nights is held at WellSpan Park, home of the York Revolution baseball team and is a fabulous walk-through light display. The show debuted in 2024, and I had a chance to visit it Thanksgiving weekend in 2025 with my wife and children.
It is one of at least three baseball stadiums in PA to do holiday-season light displays including Christmas Spirit in Lancaster and Illumination in Allentown.

The attractions start even before you enter the stadium as there are several kid’s activities in Brooks Robinson Plaza outside the gates including, in 2025, a human snow globe, a large inflatable slide, and a small train. These are a great way to get in the spirit before entering, though their small capacity could create lines during a busy time.
Entering the stadium, the path follows a counterclockwise direction around the concourse, with several spots to access the warning track around the field to check out the display from field level.

Just after turning into the concourse, you’ll come to the first view of the field. From here, you can see nearly all of the three million lights that illuminate WellSpan Park. It is a truly is a glorious sight.
Strings of lights fill the seating area, while fun light displays can be found on the field. There’s even an animated Christmas tree that’s a really cool.

The lights around the stadium are sometimes static and, at other times, flash to the beat of the music. This creates a really fun atmosphere around the stadium.
In addition to great views, walking along the concourse allows you to pass several food and drink stands (with fairly reasonable prices), a collection of Christmas trees decorated by local organizations, fire pits, and several photo opportunities.

The playground beyond the centerfield wall is also open for kids to play on, which is a fun way to burn off a bit of energy during your visit.
While there are several ways to get down to the field level, most will enter in the centerfield section and do a clockwise loop around the field before walking the rest of the way around the concourse.

While you can’t go on the grass, walking along the warning track is a ton of fun if you love baseball. And, either way, it provides a fun perspective on the lights that’s different from seeing them from the upper area.
As you walk around the field, you can enjoy the 12 Days of Christmas in lights, get a photo with illuminated angel’s wings, and walk through a light tunnel. Plus, we were even able to go sit in the dugout for a minute, which was, again, another fun experience for baseball fans.

On most nights, there are also promotions that add a little bit of extra magic including visits with Santa, character greetings, pup nights, and more. Check out the event calendar and pick out the perfect night to visit.
One thing worth noting is that while there is free parking, there are no signs pointing to it (at least when we visited), so it can be hard to find. Note that the lots directly adjacent to the stadium are reserved for special guests and handicapped parking.

The general admission lot is about two blocks away in the season member and small athletic field parking. You can see them on this map.
Not a huge deal, but it took us a while to figure out where to park, so I figured it was worth mentioning to save you some trouble.
Overall, I was really impressed with the number of lights at Bright Nights and how much of the stadium was covered in them. There were also a good number of fun displays, and the choreography with the music was really neat.

That being said, compared to some other light shows I’ve been to in the area (like nearby Christmas Magic in Rocky Ridge Park), there did seem to be a little bit less to do, fewer photography spots, and less to occupy your time while visiting. This means that visits can be a bit quicker, which makes the price seem a little bit high, in my opinion.
However, at the end of the day, my family and I did have a lot of fun here, and it was definitely was a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season.

In 2025, Bright Nights at WellSpan Park is open Thursday-Sunday from November 20 through December 28. Tickets cost $17.75 for adults and $12.50 for kids (with fees included). There is an additional $2 per-ticket fee for day-of tickets.
